ZTA and Colts Pair Up for a Crucial Catch

Picture
Members from all 6 Indiana collegiate chapters converged on downtown Indianapolis for the October 9 Indianapolis Colts game.  Collegians and alumnae worked on Saturday and Sunday morning to place signs in every one of Lucas Oil Stadium's seats.  Those volunteering on Sunday were able to have their pictures taken on the field and with the Lombardi Trophy!  Sisters then took to the streets surrounding the stadium to hand out 70,000 pink ribbons to those in attendance.

Thanks to Kerri Kinker for this picture of Beta Theta members on the field.  For more pictures from the ribbon event, see Province Pics!

Brett Enneking Sings Anthem at Evansville Race

Picture
University of Evansville ZTA Brett Enneking took the stage at the 2011 Evansville Race for the Cure on September 24.  Brett started the day's festivities off with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem, an honor won via a public contest sponsored by WGBF radio.  Zeta Alpha sisters are always actively involved in the Survivor program - assisting with the parade, participating in the Race, and handing out bracelets - but this unique honor put Brett in the well-deserved spotlight.

Zeta collegians and alumnae from central Indiana helped turn Lucas Oil Stadium pink this weekend.  Women from Indianapolis Alumnae, Indiana State University, Franklin College, and IUPUI gathered at the home of the Colts to place pink signs on each seat of the stadium.  Prior to kickoff, fans stood and cheered while holding the signs, turning the sizable arena pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

Thank you, sisters, for giving of your time to make a huge impact!

Evansville Alumnae and Collegians Kick Off Race Week With Press Conference

Picture
Evansville Zeta Tau Alphas, alumnae and collegiate, were joined by Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel and Evansville Susan G. Komen for the Cure Executive Director Sheila Seller for a Monday press conference.  Mayor Weinzapfel kicked off the Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives campaign by putting the first pink lid in a collection bin.  Area Schnucks and other groceries will be housing lid collection containers.  Last year, Evansville collected over 16,500 lids.

Zeta Alpha chapter and Evansville alumnae will be taking part in this weekend's Evansville Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  Have a great Race weekend, sisters!
