Zeta Tau Alpha Province XIV-A

Recruitment:  "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

Okay, okay....I am DEFINITELY a recruitment addict.  You don't serve as Membership Advisor for 14 years without that being the case.  I will also admit that I LOVED getting to assist with so many recruitments in the past month!

It began with a round 3 visit to Purdue.  Let me back up.  I was a Membership Advisor for 14 years...at Franklin.  The scope of a Big Ten recruitment process had me pretty intimidated before I walked through the door.  The basics are the same.  The strengths of Zeta are the same.  Sisterhood is the same.  There are simply 4 more parties of it.  And I loved it!  Our Alpha Theta sisters have a great thing going up there, and I thank them (and their alumnae leadership) for welcoming me and teaching me.

The following week took me to the big road trip.  Gamma Chi and Zeta Alpha recruitments most often overlap.  I got to spend most of the week in pseudo-TLC mode at ISU...and let me tell you what a joy that was!  Our Indiana State sisters ROCKED that campus!  Their new members are simply outstanding and I can't wait to see what all 22 (quota + 4) of them bring to the chapter.  I watched their run and then ran, myself, to Evansville for Preference.  If you need Pref singers, pay off Zeta Alpha for theirs.  Wow.  There were a lot of changes in the southland this year, and the chapter not only rolled with them, but they soared.  Their new member class is packed with outstanding future campus leaders!

This week ended the recruitment road trip for me.  As would be fitting, I ended in Franklin.  The chapter did an excellent job all week, and they were rewarded with 24 (quota +2) AMAZING young women!  Check out the Province Pics for my favorite moments - catching the surprise visit of recent graduate Brittnee to welcome her blood little sister to her chapter.  It was beautiful.

Endless thanks to the alumnae of the state who helped our collegiate members with loving support.  Congratulations to Erika and Amy on their first recruitments as MAs.  Thanks to Ali and Harriette for...everything.
